Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $150,000 Sold in Portia; Mega Millions Ticket Worth $20,000 Sold in Springdale

Little Rock, Ark.

Two Arkansas lottery players had a “winning weekend” after landing big prizes in the recent Powerball® and Mega Millions® drawings.

A winning Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was sold at Jordan’s Kwik Stop 50, 2917 Highway 63 in Portia, for the Oct. 17 drawing. The winning numbers were 12, 13, 24, 32 and 35, and the Powerball number was 11. The Power Play® multiplier was 3.

The lucky winner matched four out of five winning numbers, plus the Powerball number, to win a $50,000 prize. Because they bought their ticket with the Power Play multiplier for an additional $1, their winnings tripled to $150,000. They are one of three players nationwide to win a prize in this tier.

Tonight, the Powerball jackpot is $607 million. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m.

A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $20,000 was purchased at Maverik #5043, 1010 North Thompson in Springdale for the Oct. 16 drawing. The winning numbers were 2, 15, 31, 41 and 68, and the Mega Ball® number was 11.

These tickets are currently unclaimed. The winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.

The Mega Millions jackpot is $413 million for the Oct. 20 drawing. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m.
