Wednesday Night’s Powerball Jackpot Soars to $643 Million

Little Rock, Ark.

The Powerball® jackpot rises to an exciting $643 million for tonight’s mid-week drawing. It marks the game’s biggest jackpot in more than a year and surpasses the last eleven grand prizes claimed, all of which capped at under $600 million.

Powerball is a multi-state draw game with drawings held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing.

During each drawing, five white balls and one Powerball are drawn. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers. However, there are multiple other prizes for players who match fewer numbers, including the Powerball number alone. Between 2023 and 2024, five Arkansans claimed non-jackpot prizes of $1 million or more.

Powerball players can also increase their winnings with the Power Play® multiplier, which costs an additional $1 and multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. Players who match the five white balls without the Powerball number can win up to $2 million with Power Play.

Tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
