Tonight’s Mega Millions Jackpot Jumps to $497 Million
The Mega Millions® jackpot has risen to $497 million, the largest prize offered since the game’s enhancements launched in April. The Mega Millions jackpot has already been claimed four times total this calendar year, most recently at $348 million in June.
With better odds and a new, built-in multiplier, Mega Millions players across the state continue to win big. Two winning tickets worth $1,500 each were sold in Arkansas for the Sept. 26 draw, and since the game change, 40 Arkansas players have claimed prizes of at least $1,000.
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
To win the jackpot, a player must match all five winning numbers, plus the Mega Ball® number. Players can win between $10 and $10 million, even without landing the jackpot.
