Saturday Night’s Powerball Jackpot Surges to $820 Million
Arkansas lottery players could win big with tomorrow night’s Powerball® drawing, where the jackpot has surged to $820 million.
The jackpot marks the draw game’s second largest this year, following the $1.787 billion jackpot won on Sept. 6.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers drawn. Other prizes are available for players who match at least the Powerball number.
Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. the night of the drawing. For an additional $1, players can purchase the Power Play® multiplier that will increase any non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. Players can win up to $2 million with Power Play.
The jackpot will reset to $20 million once won. If more than one player wins the jackpot, it will be split evenly among the winners. Arkansas lottery players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
Powerball tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
