Powerball Jackpot Hits $750 Million, Becomes Tenth-Highest Jackpot in Powerball History
Tonight’s $750 million Powerball® jackpot reaches a historic milestone, becoming the tenth-highest Powerball jackpot of all time. Climbing since June 2, it also remains the highest Powerball jackpot in more than a year.
Powerball is a multi-state draw game, and there are winners everywhere. Since 2023, twenty-nine Arkansas lottery players have claimed Powerball prizes of at least $30,000, including two players who won at least $100,000 in calendar year 2025.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Five white balls and one Powerball are selected during each drawing. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers drawn. There are multiple non-jackpot prizes available for players who match at least the Powerball number.
Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing. Players can also purchase the Power Play® multiplier for an additional $1 and increase their non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times.
Powerball tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
