North Little Rock Woman Claims $170,000 Lottery Prize With Ticket Ordered on Jackpocket App

Little Rock, AR

Kyra McTyer of North Little Rock claimed a $170,000 prize this morning from a Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) ticket she purchased from Jackpocket Winner’s Corner via the Jackpocket lottery app for last Saturday’s drawing.

The winning numbers were 7, 9, 13, 32 and 39.

McTyer said she was at home Saturday night when she got a text from Jackpocket saying, “You Won Big!”

“I was thinking, ‘Oh, I won like a hundred bucks,” she said. “Then when I opened the text, I had to look at it four times to see that all the numbers matched. And then I was like, ‘Oh, my God! I now can pay off the house I bought five years ago for me and my mom. I’m just so blessed and thankful.”

The winner thinks 2022 may be her lucky year.

“It’s funny because my boyfriend and I won $50,000 off a scratch-off ticket in June, and I got promoted at work this year, too,” she said.

“I had a little bit of money in my Jackpocket account so I decided Saturday to go ahead and purchase a couple of NSJ tickets. I always play Natural State, the new LOTTO game – man, I’d love to win that one – plus Powerball® and Mega Millions®.”

McTyer said she learned about the Jackpocket app on Facebook and started reading a little bit about it.

“I saw where people were winning from it so I knew it was legit,” she said. “It’s cool.”

A Jackpocket player last hit the Natural State Jackpot in June 2022, when a Pine Bluff woman won the record $520,000 prize. The Natural State Jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $65,000. The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to $238 million for Friday night’s drawing. On Saturday the jackpot drawings for LOTTO and Powerball will be $714,000 and $93 million, respectively.
