Mega Millions, Powerball and LOTTO Jackpots Surge; Benton County Man Wins $75,000 Prize Playing $3 Instant Game

little Rock, Ark.e

Following their mid-week drawings, three draw game jackpots surge to higher heights.

Friday night’s Mega Millions® jackpot is $364 million, climbing steadily since it was last won at $803 million in July 2026.

Mega Millions is a multi-state draw game. Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m.

To win the jackpot, a player must match the five numbers drawn, plus the Mega Ball® number. With the built-in multiplier, players can win between $10 and $10 million for matching only some of the winning numbers.

Since the Friday, Oct. 2 drawing, four winning tickets worth more than $500 have been purchased in Arkansas. These tickets were sold in Pine Bluff, Carlisle, Yellville and Little Rock.

The high jackpots continue to through the weekend with Saturday night’s Powerball® and LOTTO drawings.

Breaking the $500 million threshold, the Powerball® jackpot jumps to $516 million while the LOTTO jackpot rises to $2.771 million. The latter nears a milestone $3 million and is the second-highest jackpot for an Arkansas-exclusive draw game.

Draw game tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from the lottery’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about Play on the Go options, visit the Where to Play page on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website.

One Arkansas lottery player recently landed his biggest win yet with a $3 scratch-off ticket.

Albert S. of Benton County won $75,000 playing Money Cashword, and he purchased the winning ticket at Murphy USA 6529, 2112 Walnut St., in Rogers. Usually a fan of $10 tickets, he bought the $3 crossword-inspired instant game for its longer play time. He scratched off the ticket at home with his wife and quickly discovered the $75,000 prize.

“I was just so excited,” Albert told lottery officials.

The excitement was warranted; previously, Albert’s biggest lottery prize had been $500. He first told his wife about the win, and although she was by Albert’s side as he scratched, she could hardly believe the good news.

The lucky winner plans to save his prize, and he intends to continue playing lottery games.

Two $75,000 top prizes remain on Money Cashword.
