Lottery Players Across Arkansas Win Following Mega Millions Game Change

LITTle Rock, Ark.

Arkansans from all four corners of the state have won non-jackpot Mega Millions® prizes following this month’s game change.

An all-new version of Mega Millions launched on April 5, featuring a built-in multiplier that increases all winning non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. These prizes now range from $10 to $10 million, which means players have a chance to win big, even without the jackpot.

In the first three drawings following this game change, ten Arkansas lottery players have won prizes of $600 or more, and seven of these won at least $1,000. These players come from every region of the state, with winning tickets sold in Jonesboro, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Texarkana, Brookland, Alma, Huntsville and Dumas.

Compared to the old game, the new Mega Millions also features a larger starting jackpot, better odds of winning and no breakeven prizes.

The Mega Millions jackpot is $112 million for Friday’s 10 p.m. drawing. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m.

Mega Millions tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
