Lottery Luck Strikes Twice for Faulkner County Man; Wednesday Night’s LOTTO Jackpot Rises to $1.531 Million

Little Rock, Ark.

One Faulkner County resident recently won his second lottery prize this month.

Gregory Knight won $50,000 playing $50,000 Stacked, a $20 instant game. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on May 26.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K Store #270976, 1148 Main St. in Vilonia.

Gregory was running errands and stopped for gas when he bought the winning ticket. A daily player, he enjoys instant games, the AR Progressive Jackpot and the occasional Powerball® or Mega Millions® ticket. This time, however, he opted for $50,000 Stacked.

“I knew there were still a lot of top prizes left,” Gregory told lottery officials.

He scratched off the ticket in his car and quickly discovered a $50,000 top prize. Gregory is no stranger to winning. Earlier this month, he landed a $42,545 prize playing AR Progressive Jackpot. Still, the $50,000 prize came as a shock.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “I’ve won more than $92,000 from the lottery in the month of May—wow!”

Ecstatic, Gregory drove straight to his daughter’s house to share the good news. She, too, was left in disbelief. Gregory looks forward to “spoiling” her and his grandchildren with his winnings.

Forty-nine $50,000 top prizes remain on $50,000 Stacked.

For players hoping for some lottery luck of their own, tonight’s LOTTO jackpot is $1.531 million.

LOTTO drawings are held at 9 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m.
