Lottery’s Mega Millions Jackpot Bumped up to $555 Million

LITTLE ROCK, ARK.

The Mega Millions® jackpot has been raised to $555 million with an estimated cash value of $316.9 million. The next drawing will be at 10 p.m. tonight.

If the jackpot is hit tonight, it would be the fifth largest jackpot win in Mega Millions history. The last Mega Millions jackpot hit was for $20 million on April 15.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever was $1.537 billion on Oct. 23, 2018, with one winning ticket sold in South Carolina. It was the second-largest jackpot in the U.S. lottery history, trailing only the $1.586 billion Powerball® jackpot in January of 2016.

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each with the option to purchase the Megaplier® for an additional dollar, which will multiply any non-jackpot prizes won. Players can select their five numbers and the Megaball®, or they can buy a Quick Pick for randomly generated numbers.

Tickets are available for purchase in store at an Arkansas Scholarship Lottery retailer or on the Jackpocket app.
