Harrell Woman Wins $100,000 Powerball Prize With Ticket Ordered on Jackpocket App

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.

K. Anthony of Harrell won a $100,000 lottery prize playing Powerball®. She claimed her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on Feb. 1.

The winning ticket was ordered on Jackpocket lottery app for the Jan. 29 drawing. The winning numbers were 39, 41, 43, 49 and 64, with the Powerball being 4.

Anthony only plays lottery games once or twice a month. However, she decided to purchase a lottery ticket after a church sermon about praising God for “things on the way.” The computer selected her numbers randomly and, lucky for Anthony, matched five out of six winning digits.

“I didn’t even know I’d won,” Anthony said. She had avoided Jackpocket’s congratulatory calls for two days, believing it was a scam.

After speaking with the Jackpocket caller, though, and the Harrell resident was overcome with excitement.

“I couldn’t even sleep a wink last night,” she shared with lottery officials.

Anthony initially won $50,000. However, because she ordered her ticket with the Power Play® option for an additional dollar, her prize doubled to $100,000.

Anthony has played several other lottery games, but this win is her biggest yet. She had claimed an $8 prize just days prior, and her other winnings never exceeded $60.

With her prize, Anthony intends to remodel her home, take her family on vacation, and save the rest. She will also continue to play the lottery.

The Powerball jackpot remains available following Anthony’s win. It rises to $214 million for tonight’s drawing. For more information about Jackpocket, please visit Jackpocket.com.
