Green Forest Woman Wins $100,000 on Instant Game; Mega Millions Jackpot Rises to $41 Million

LITTLE ROCK, ARK.

Teressa M., a Green Forest resident, recently won $100,000 on the $5 More Money instant game ticket. She claimed her prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center in Little Rock.

The winning ticket was purchased from Casey’s General Store #3023 on 505 W. Trimble Ave. in Berryville.

Teressa bought the winning ticket during a gas station trip with her granddaughter, along with a second More Money ticket and two other lottery games. Though she plays daily, she did not anticipate winning anything with this set. Stuffing the tickets into her purse, the woman waited until she arrived home to scratch her tickets.

Her excitement grew as she slowly revealed the images on the first More Money instant ticket.

“There was one, then another one, and another one,” Teressa shared with lottery officials, referring to the matching $100,000 icons that announced her win.

Immediately, she called her husband. “You’re not going to believe this,” she said.

From there, she called her children, one of whom noted her luck: Teressa has won multiple times on the lottery, with prizes worth $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000.

For this win, though, the Arkansan wants to remodel her home; renovating her twenty-year-old bathroom is a top priority.

Following Teressa’s win, two top prizes of $100,000 remain on the More Money instant ticket.

The Natural State Jackpot rises to $65,000 for tonight, while the Mega Millions® jackpot now stands at $41 million. The Powerball® jackpot jumps to $572 million for Wednesday night, and the LOTTO jackpot is $693,000.
