Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to Host Retailer Event at RP Fuel in Stuttgart
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) will host a retailer event at RP Fuel, located at 100 E. Michigan St. in Stuttgart, on Tuesday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event commemorates a $1 million winning instant ticket purchased at the retailer in April. The public is invited to attend.
“We’re proud to celebrate RP Fuel for selling this $1 million ticket,” said ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong. “As we work toward our mission of raising in-state scholarship proceeds through lottery ticket sales, it’s important to recognize some of the biggest contributors to that goal–our players and retailers.”
To kick off the event, Strong will present a $10,000 check for the retailer’s commission. Then, with the purchase of a $2 LOTTO ticket, event attendees can spin the lottery’s small wheel for ASL-branded prizes to also celebrate Wednesday night’s LOTTO jackpot. Additionally, RP Fuel will offer a special promotion on pizza and gas during the event.
“Whether Arkansas players prefer Fast Play, instant tickets or draw games, we want them to know they have several ways to win,” Strong added.
The LOTTO jackpot is $1.828 million for Wednesday night’s drawing.
LOTTO drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 9 p.m. The jackpot increases with the ticket sales from each drawing. Once won, it resets to $250,000.
