Arkansas Lottery Players Win Big Across State; Lottery Jackpots Continue to Soar

Little Rock, ARK.

Arkansans all over the state claimed big prizes this week.

A lucky Fordyce man got an early birthday present courtesy of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s $20 200X instant game. LC Brown, who will turn 65 next Thursday, recently claimed his $500,000 lottery prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center.

Brown purchased the scratch-off ticket at Bailey’s Mobile, 2235 Highway 79 in Fordyce. With Brown’s win, two top prizes of $500,000 remain on the 200X instant game.

“I stopped at Bailey’s to get some chicken and decided to purchase a lottery ticket while I was there,” said Brown. “I knew I had won big when all the bells and sirens started going off after I gave my ticket to the store clerk to confirm my win.”

He remained calm despite having just won a life-changing amount of money. Brown first told his brother, Frank, about his win. With his newfound wealth, he plans to save and continue working.

“I work at a lumber company and don’t plan to retire right now because I enjoy staying active,” Brown told lottery officials.

Two Arkansans each won $200,000. Pamela Clark of Hot Springs won a top prize from the $10 $200,000 Max instant game. She plans to put her winnings toward traveling and retirement. Christopher Hilbourn of Russellville won playing the $10 Jumbo Bucks Extra scratch-off ticket and plans to spend his lottery prize on home improvements.

AR Progressive Jackpot players are also winning big – Bruce Hoselton of Forrest City claimed a prize worth $10,494, and Jeramy Fernandez of Bentonville won $26,883.

A Powerball® ticket worth $150,000 was sold at Doublebee’s #134, 209 S. Fourche Ave. in Perryville, for the June 19 drawing. The winning numbers were 36, 39, 52, 57 and 69. The player matched four white balls and the Powerball number 1. The winner has yet to claim the prize.

Tonight, the Mega Millions® jackpot is a massive $368 million, and the Natural State Jackpot is up to $200,000. The LOTTO jackpot stands at $534,000, while the Powerball jackpot has surged to $493 million for tomorrow night.
