Arkansas Lottery Celebrates One Year of LOTTO Draw Game with Special Promotion

Little Rock, ArK.

This month marks one year since the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) launched its newest draw game, LOTTO.

With a starting jackpot of $250,000, LOTTO is only played and won in Arkansas. Drawings are held at 9 p.m. in Little Rock every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are $2 per play. As with any lottery product, a player must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.

LOTTO players must match six main numbers to win the jackpot or match other number combinations with or without the bonus number to win non-jackpot prizes up to $25,000. Since its September 2022 launch, LOTTO has yielded two jackpot winners – a lucky Sebastian County player won $2.338 million, and someone from Little Rock claimed $999,000.

“We are thrilled with the success of LOTTO and its impact on funding college scholarships in Arkansas,” said ASL Executive Director Eric Hagler. “We look forward to continuing to offer exciting games like LOTTO to our players.”

To commemorate this milestone, ASL will host two activation events on Oct. 18 at Jiffy Kwik, 219 S. Arkansas St. in Rogers, and Oct. 25 at Joy Plus Inc., 5314 N. Stateline Ave. in Texarkana, where the public can purchase LOTTO tickets and play a game to win lottery swag. Both events will be held from 4 to 6 p.m.

ASL is also offering the LOTTO Bundle exclusively for Arkansas lottery players. For only $6, a player gets four chances of winning a life-changing jackpot. They will receive a free LOTTO ticket when they buy three Quick Pick plays for a LOTTO draw. The promotion will run through October.

“All players have to do to get this great deal is visit their local lottery retailer and ask for the LOTTO Bundle,” said Hagler.

The LOTTO jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is up to $293,000. For each drawing the jackpot is not won; the amount increases for the next one based on the game's sales.

Both winning and non-winning tickets will be eligible to enter in The Club for Points for Prizes®. For more information, go to MyArkansasLottery.com/LOTTO.
