Arkansas Lottery Brings Back Popular 5-Buck Bundle Promotion

Little Rock, ARK.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) is bringing back its popular 5-Buck

Bundle starting Jan. 1. For just $5, players will receive a $3 Powerball® ticket with Power Play®, a $2 Mega Millions® ticket, and a free $1 Natural State Jackpot ticket. The 5-Buck Bundle will be eligible with Quick Picks only.

“All players have to do to get this great deal is visit their local lottery retailer and ask for the 5-Buck Bundle,” said ASL Executive Director Eric Hagler.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing is up to $760 million, and tomorrow night’s Mega Millions jackpot has reached $92 million. The Natural State Jackpot, exclusive to Arkansas, is $105,000 for tonight’s drawing.

“As long as no one wins these jackpots, they will continue to increase. Drawings for Powerball are held three days a week, and Mega Millions drawings occur twice a week. Both games grow by several million dollars each time no one wins the jackpot.

“The Natural State Jackpot draws six nights a week and increases by $5,000 daily until it reaches $150,000. After that, it increases by $10,000 every draw until it’s won,” Hagler said.

Also, on Jan. 2, the lottery will launch five new instant tickets ranging in price from $1 to $10. Each ticket is loaded with prizes, and players can win multiple times on each ticket. The total prize money up for grabs is $21,305,117.

Hagler reminds players that if gambling is causing a problem for an individual, help is available by calling or texting the 24-hour confidential National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700.
