Arkansans Win Big With Lottery Across State

Little Rock, Ark.

The new year is starting off right for Arkansans all over the state who have claimed big prizes and changed their lives in an instant.

Mark Deavers of Conway purchased a winning Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) ticket at Doublebee’s #111 located at 473 Highway 64 East in Conway for the Jan. 15 drawing and recently discovered he won $240,000. He claimed his prize yesterday at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center.

The winning numbers for that night’s drawing were 8, 11, 38, 14, and 3. Deavers, who regularly plays the lottery, plans to pay bills with his winnings. His wife was the first person he told about his win.

On Jan. 12 and Jan. 18, two Arkansas players each claimed prizes of $1 million. With the million-dollar wins, two top prizes of $1 million remain on the $1,000,000 Riches game. So far this week, two players from Clarksville and Little Rock won $10,000 from the $10,000 Blowout instant game, another player from Dover won $50,000 off the $50,000 Payday instant game, and someone won $100,000 from Jonesboro on the $100,000 Money Game.

“Arkansans are winning, what more could we ask for?” said Eric Hagler, executive director of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. “Additionally in buying these tickets, these individuals have helped fund college scholarships for Arkansas students, which has funded more than 650,000 scholarships to date.”

Through Feb. 28, ASL is offering a special promotion called the 5-Buck Bundle. For just $5, a player receives a Powerball® ticket with Power Play®, a Mega Millions® ticket, and a free Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) ticket. The Bundle is eligible with Quick Picks only.
