Benton County Man Wins $200,000 Natural State Jackpot; $60,000 Natural State Jackpot Ticket Sold in Maumelle
For one Benton County resident, a longtime lottery routine paid off with a $200,000 Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) win.
The winning ticket was sold at Casey’s #4329, 102 S. Gentry Blvd., in Gentry for the Oct. 23 drawing. The winning numbers were 6, 13, 26, 35 and 38.
James M. bought the winning ticket while stopping for gas. A weekly lottery player, he enjoys draw games like NSJ and Powerball® and always opts for Quick Picks, allowing the terminal to select his numbers. While the odds of winning remain the same whether a player chooses their numbers, this Quick Pick ticket would land James his biggest prize yet.
James was at home when he discovered he had hit the $200,000 jackpot.
“Oh my gosh,” he thought. “I have to tell my wife!”
Though initially skeptical, James’ wife eventually grew excited about the good news.
The lucky winner plans to make charitable gifts with his prize, and he hopes to share some of his winnings with the gas station clerk. He also intends to continue playing lottery games.
Following this jackpot win, another lucky player won $60,000 in the Oct. 26 NSJ drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Morgan C Stop Inc., 20515 Highway 365 N., in Maumelle, and the winning numbers were 7, 10, 16, 23 and 38.
This ticket is currently unclaimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
Tonight, the NSJ jackpot is $55,000.
