Powerball Jackpot Jumps to $467 Million; Winning Natural State Jackpot Ticket Worth $290,000 Sold for Friday Draw

Little Rock, Ark.

Tonight, the Powerball® jackpot jumps to $467 million, reaching its second-highest jackpot of the year.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. To win the jackpot, a player must match the five numbers drawn, plus the Powerball number. Tickets cost $2 per play, and players can buy the optional Power Play® multiplier for an additional $1, which can increase non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times.

Powerball ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. on draw nights.

One lucky Arkansan landed a big win with last weekend’s drawings.

A winning Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) ticket worth $290,000 was ordered via the Jackpocket mobile app for the Oct. 2 draw. The winning numbers were 5, 17, 19, 26 and 36.

This ticket is currently unclaimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

Tonight’s NSJ jackpot is $60,000.

Powerball and NSJ tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
