LOTTO Jackpot Soars to $2.318 Million; White County Resident Claims $200,000 Natural State Jackpot

Little Rock, Ark.

Arkansas lottery players have plenty of reasons to celebrate with in-state draw games like LOTTO and Natural State Jackpot (NSJ).

The LOTTO jackpot is $2.318 million for Saturday night’s drawing.

LOTTO drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 p.m. Six numbers and a Bonus Number are drawn. To win the jackpot, a player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order. Alternate prizes up to $25,000 are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the Bonus Number.

The LOTTO jackpot will reset to $250,000 once won.

L. Payne, a White County resident, recently won $200,000 in the Aug. 5 Natural State Jackpot drawing. The winning numbers were 11, 16, 22, 31 and 33.

A weekly player, she ordered the winning Quick Pick ticket via the Jackpocket mobile app for convenience, then went to sleep. Little did Payne know, the $200,000 prize would be waiting for her the following morning.

Payne woke up around 1 a.m. and checked her email, discovering a notification from Jackpocket that she was a “Big Winner.” Initially thinking she had only won $1, she checked the mobile app. Then, Payne realized she had hit the jackpot.

“I had to call my son!” she said. “I’m never going to forget this day.”

The lucky winner plans to start a small business with her prize.

Following Payne’s win, NSJ continues to rise. The jackpot for tonight is $150,000.

NSJ drawings are held daily at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $1 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 7:59 p.m.
