Tonight’s Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $800 Million; Powerball and LOTTO Jackpots Surge for Wednesday’s Drawing
Three draw game jackpots soar to new heights for their mid-week drawings.
The Mega Millions® jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $800 million. A multistate lottery game, Mega Millions has awarded seven jackpots exceeding $1 billion to winners across the nation. In Arkansas, four players won prizes of $500 or more in the July 24 drawing, with winning tickets sold in Little Rock, Heber Springs, Harrison and Bentonville.
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m. on draw nights.
Wednesday night, players have a chance to win big with another multistate draw game, Powerball®, as its jackpot hits $663 million. Two Arkansas residents recently won jackpots of $1.817 billion and $250.8 million respectively. Additionally, 18 players in Arkansas have claimed Powerball prizes of more than $500 this calendar year.
To win Powerball jackpot, a player must match the five numbers drawn plus the Powerball number. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Also drawing Wednesday night, the LOTTO jackpot is $2.08 million. Launched in 2022, LOTTO is an Arkansas-exclusive draw game with drawings held every Wednesday and Saturday. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers drawn, plus the Bonus Number. Once won, the LOTTO jackpot will reset to $250,000 and increase with subsequent drawings.
Tickets for these draw games are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about Play on the Go options, visit the Where to Play page on ASL’s website.
