Stuttgart Retailer Receives $10,000 Bonus Check After Selling $1 Million Scratch-Off Ticket

Little Rock, Ark.

On June 30, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) presented RP Fuel in Stuttgart with a $10,000 bonus check for selling a $1 million winning instant ticket earlier this year.

“We were excited to support our retail partner, RP Fuel,” said ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong. “Our retail partners play a key role in our success, and we appreciate the way we work together to advance our mission of raising in‑state scholarship proceeds through lottery ticket sales.”

The winning instant ticket, $1,000,000 Jackpot, was sold in April, and one $1 million top prize remains available on the game.

Arkansas retailers receive a 1 percent commission from the sales of winning lottery products with a cap at $50,000. Since 2009, retailers have received more than $484 million in commissions, and ASL has funded more than 873,000 scholarships.

Alongside the check presentation, ASL hosted a retailer event to celebrate the winning ticket. Attendees could spin the wheel for ASL-branded prizes with the purchase of a $2 LOTTO ticket, and RP Fuel offered free pizza and discounted gas prices during the event. The $1 million winner, Stuttgart resident Rodrigo C., also attended the celebration with his family.
