Wednesday Night’s LOTTO Jackpot Jumps to $1.59 Million

Little Rock, Ark.

The LOTTO jackpot rises to $1.59 million ahead of tomorrow night’s drawing.

LOTTO, an Arkansas-exclusive draw game, was designed to give in-state lottery players more chances to win bigger prizes. Five players have claimed the jackpot since the game’s launch, including Yell County, Sebastian County and Pulaski County residents.

LOTTO drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 are drawn, plus a Bonus Number. To win the jackpot, a LOTTO player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order. Alternate prizes are available for players who match at least three winning numbers, with or without the Bonus Number.

Six players won prizes of $500 or more in last Wednesday’s LOTTO drawing, including three who won $1,500 each.

Once won, the jackpot resets to $250,000 and increases with each subsequent drawing. If more than one player matches all six winning numbers, the jackpot will be split evenly between the winners.

LOTTO tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 pm. on draw nights. Tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. Players must be at least 18 years old to buy LOTTO or any other lottery product.
