Two Arkansas Lottery Players Win $50,000 on $50,000 Stacked

Little rock, Ark.

The instant ticket $50,000 Stacked continues to bring big wins to Arkansas lottery players.

K. Malcolm of Clark County won $50,000 playing the $50,000 Stacked ticket. He purchased the winning ticket at Smoker Friendly #1157, 2708 Pine St., Suite C in Arkadelphia.

“What’s funny is, that’s not my usual ticket,” Malcolm told lottery officials.

Malcolm bought the winning $50,000 Stacked ticket shortly after the game launched. Usually more interested in games offering $1 million top prizes, he decided to give the new ticket a chance with the extra $20 he had on hand. Malcolm scratched the ticket off at home, and to his surprise, it held a $50,000 top prize.

“I couldn’t believe it at first,” he said. “I was just in shock.”

The lucky winner called his brother to share the good news, and he plans to open a business with his winnings.

“I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and this will help,” he said.

Another winner, Brian Wells of Monticello, also won $50,000 playing the $50,000 Stacked ticket. He purchased the winning ticket at E-Z Mart #4453, located at 505 US 425 S. in Monticello.

A daily lottery player, Brian enjoys a variety of games, but he is most drawn to $20 instant tickets. Brian has also developed a personal routine for playing instant games. He buys them early in the morning, letting them “marinate” all day before scratching them off in the luckiest spot in his home—his recliner in front of the TV—with his “lucky scratching pocketknife.”

This time, Brian’s ritual paid off: the very first row of his ticket held a $50,000 top prize.

“I got one!” he thought.

The $50,000 win marked Brian’s biggest win, although he landed several $500 and $1,000 prizes in the past.

The lucky winner first shared the good news with his brother.

As a “lover of cool cars,” Brian plans to add some of his winnings to his car fund. He also intends to take his brother and brother-in-law out to lunch to celebrate.

Fifty-seven $50,000 top prizes remain on $50,000 Stacked.
