Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $250.8 Million Sold in Arkansas
Powerball® luck strikes again in Arkansas.
A jackpot-winning Powerball ticket worth $250.8 million was sold in Arkansas for the March 2 drawing. The winning numbers were 2, 17, 18, 38 and 62. The Powerball number was 20, and the Power Play® multiplier was 2.
The winner will have the choice between an annuitized prize of $250.8 million or a one-time payout of $118 million. Both prize options are before taxes. State taxes will withhold 3.9%, and federal taxes will withhold 24%.
“We couldn’t be more excited that another jackpot-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Arkansas,” said Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Executive Director Sharon Strong. “We’re always happy to see another player land a life-changing prize, knowing that retailers, students and Arkansans as a whole will benefit from the win.”
Proceeds from lottery ticket sales support student scholarships in Arkansas.
Per state policy, the winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize. Information on how to make arrangements to claim the winning ticket is available on MyArkansasLottery.com. The lucky winner may choose to remain anonymous for up to three years, unless they are an elected official or a close relative of an elected official.

ASL officials remind players that attempting to claim lottery money fraudulently is a Class D felony in Arkansas. They warn players not to submit fake tickets to the ASL Claim Center in hopes of claiming the $250.8 million jackpot.
The Powerball jackpot has reset to $20 million following last night’s win.
