Pocahontas Man Wins $75,000 Prize Playing Instant Game; Two Arkansas Lottery Players Win Big with $50,000 Stacked

Little Rock, Ark.

Arkansas lottery players continue to win big with instant tickets.

Clyde H. of Pocahontas won $75,000 playing Crossword X-tra, a $3 instant game. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on Feb. 6.

The winning ticket was purchased at Jordan’s Kwik Stop #72, 647 Highway 67 S., in Pocahontas.

Clyde initially stopped by the gas station for pizza. Once inside, he decided to take a chance on the $3 instant ticket. A monthly player, Clyde says he plays “a little bit of everything.” This time, however, he selected his ticket at random.

“I just picked something,” he told lottery officials.

Lucky for Clyde, his ticket held a $75,000 top prize. In disbelief, the lucky winner shared the good news with a few people, all of whom were equally stunned.

Another winner, Johnny D. of Fort Smith, won $50,000 playing $50,000 Stacked and claimed his prize on Feb. 3.

Johnny bought the $20 winning ticket at Casey’s #4637, located at 2000 Phoenix Ave. in Fort Smith, while visiting his mom. His $50,000 win followed a series of smaller wins earlier that day.

The player won $20 on his first $50,000 Stacked ticket and used the prize to purchase a $200 Stacked ticket for $2, winning $200. Finally, with those winnings, he purchased the lucky $50,000 Stacked ticket and went home to play.

To his excitement, his win streak continued with a $50,000 top prize.

“Mom, I think I won big,” Johnny said.

Johnny stayed up all night anticipating collecting his prize at the ASL Claim Center. Now that he has claimed it, he is considering buying a new car.

A third winner, Eric D. of Benton County, also won a $50,000 top prize on $50,000 Stacked. He claimed his prize on Feb. 9.

The winning ticket was purchased at Walmart Market #2741, 3510 S.E. 14th St., in Bentonville.

Eric and his son were grocery shopping when he bought the winning ticket. He usually plays $500 Stacked, a $5 scratch-off game within the Stacked ticket family. This time, however, Eric had a $20 bill in his pocket and wanted to try his luck with a higher-paying game.

“I’ll try this one,” he thought, selecting $50,000 Stacked from the kiosk.

Eric tucked the ticket into the pocket of his car door and drove home.

At his kitchen table, Eric scratched and scanned the barcode first with the AR Lottery + Club app’s ticket checker. He received a notification telling him to claim his prize at the ASL Claim Center, which prompted him to check the rest of his ticket. He quickly realized he had won a $50,000 prize.

“Whoa, this is legit!” Eric said.

He first shared the good news with his girlfriend. However, Eric is keeping the big win secret from his son, whom he plans to surprise with a trip.

Seventy-three $50,000 top prizes remain on $50,000 Stacked.
