Powerball Jackpot Rises to $1.5 Billion Ahead of Weekend Drawing
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — One lucky lottery player could end the year with the win of a lifetime as the Powerball® jackpot climbs to $1.5 billion for Saturday night’s drawing.
Powerball is a multi-state draw game with winners across Arkansas. Twenty in-state lottery players have claimed Powerball prizes of $500 or more since January, including a $100,000 winner in November.
Drawings are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing.
To win the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers drawn. Other prizes are available for players who match at least the Powerball number. To increase non-jackpot winnings, players can also purchase the Power Play® multiplier for an additional $1.
Powerball tickets are available at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
