The Powerball® jackpot rises to $930 million ahead of tonight’s drawing.

Nearing $1 billion, this jackpot is the draw game’s second-highest jackpot of the year and the seventh-largest of all time. The Powerball jackpot was last won for $1.787 billion in September.

This year, twenty Arkansas lottery players have won prizes of $500 or greater, with seven of them winning at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six winning numbers drawn. Other prizes are available for players who match at least the Powerball number.

Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing. For an additional $1, players can add the optional Power Play® multiplier to increase non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. Players can win up to $2 million with this multiplier.
