Mega Millions Jackpot Jumps to $400 Million; LOTTO Jackpot Rises to $1.11 Million for Wednesday Draw
Arkansas players have two big chances to win this week as jackpots continue to rise for their mid-week drawings.
Tonight’s Mega Millions® jackpot is $400 million. It marks the highest jackpot since the Mega Millions game change earlier this year.
In April, Mega Millions launched a game change designed to give players better odds of winning bigger prizes. A built-in multiplier that replaced the previous Megaplier® option multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. Non-jackpot prizes now range from $10 to $10 million. Once hit, the jackpot also resets to $50 million, an increase from the $20 million starting amount from the game’s previous iteration.
Since the game change, 38 Arkansas lottery players have claimed prizes of at least $1,000.
Mega Millions drawings occur on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 9:45 p.m.
Arkansans can look forward to another big drawing on Wednesday night. Played and won only in Arkansas, the LOTTO jackpot rises to $1.11 million for tomorrow night’s draw. It is the highest LOTTO jackpot since its record-high $5.123 million jackpot was claimed in February.
LOTTO drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. the night of the drawing.
Mega Millions and LOTTO tickets are available for purchase at licensed ASL retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
