$290,000 Natural State Jackpot Ticket Sold Via Jackpocket; Powerball Jackpot Rises to $700 Million for Weekend Draw
One lucky Arkansas lottery player hit the jackpot in last night’s Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawing.
A winning NSJ ticket worth $290,000 was sold via the Jackpocket mobile app for the Aug. 21 drawing. The winning numbers were 1, 10, 16, 21 and 26.
This ticket is currently unclaimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
Following the jackpot win, the NSJ jackpot has reset to $50,000 for tonight’s drawing. The jackpot increases by $5,000 with each draw until it hits $100,000. After that, it will increase by $10,000 per draw until it is won.
NSJ drawings occur nightly at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $1 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 7:59 p.m.
For Saturday night, the Powerball® jackpot rises to $700 million. It ranks as the eleventh-highest Powerball jackpot of all time, just shy of Powerball’s tenth-ranked $731.1 million jackpot.
Since 2023, nine Arkansans have claimed prizes of $150,000 or more, with five of these winners taking home at least $1 million.
Powerball is a multi-state draw game. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. on the night of the drawing.
For an additional $1, players can purchase the Power Play® multiplier. This feature can boost any non-jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times.
NSJ and Powerball tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and through retailer apps from ASL’s Play on the Go partners. For more information about the Play on the Go options, visit the Where To Play page on the ASL website.
