Pulaski County Resident Wins $50,000—Again
One Arkansas lottery player’s lucky streak continues as he lands another top prize.
Pulaski County resident Travis S. recently won his second $50,000 prize on $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 instant game. He claimed his winnings at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center on July 15.
The winning ticket was sold at Kum & Go #139, located at 15617 Chenal Parkway in Little Rock.
Earlier this month, Travis claimed his first $50,000 prize on the same instant game. At the time, he had only won $40 and $100 prizes on the ticket and hoped to land something bigger.
The $50,000 Frenzy ticket became Travis’ favorite after his first big win. When the Pulaski County man later discovered that the scratch-off still had forty top prizes available, he decided to try his luck once more.
The player stopped at a local lottery retailer to buy his ticket, and while inside, he noticed someone in distress. Without a second thought, he offered them $100 to ease their struggle. Unbeknownst to Travis, his compassionate gesture would be rewarded many times over when he least expected it.
Travis’ good karma paid off almost instantly. He scratched off his ticket while still in the store, and there it was: another $50,000 top prize.
“There’s no way I won again on this ticket!” Travis thought.
The Pulaski County resident called his father first to share the good news.
“Wow, that’s great!” his father responded.
The lucky winner plans to purchase a car, as well as some new volleyball shoes for his stepdaughter.
Thirty-nine top prizes worth $50,000 each remain on $50,000 Frenzy.
